## The problem checker

The well problem checker suggests likely causes from your answers. It can't see your well. Only on-site testing confirms a fault. If you smell burning, see sparks, or the pump is running without building pressure, turn off power to the well and call.

## Safety

Well systems carry line voltage. Don't open pressure switches, control boxes or disconnects with the power on. Resetting a breaker once is safe; repeated resets are not.
